The ICAMPP conference is committed to supporting female engineers, a cause we take great pride in.
We are honoured to have the opportunity to present Ljupka Vrteva the winner of Slovenia’s Female Engineer of the Year 2023 award, as an invited speaker at the International Conference on Additive Manufacturing and Post-Processing 2025. Ljupka is a passionate engineer and advocate for encouraging young women to pursue STEM careers. Coming from a family of musicians and economists, Ljupka was always creative as a child, but she wanted to turn her imagination into something tangible. After completing high school in Macedonia, she moved to Slovenia, where she successfully earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering at the University of Ljubljana. Additionally, she completed the European Energy Manager program at the Jožef Stefan Institute.
Ljupka has never doubted her decision to become an engineer and constantly seeks new challenges in the energy sector. She actively shares her knowledge and experience, inspiring others, especially young girls, to follow their dreams by showing them that with determination, anything is possible.
