In September 2025 a STEM Escape Room was organized for secondary school students as part of the SEAMAC project.
During the escape room challenge, student teams solved logical puzzles and explored topics such as mechanical engineering, additive manufacturing (3D printing), physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The experience encouraged teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving, while providing insight into future technical and engineering careers.
The initiative aimed to motivate young people—especially girls—to explore STEM fields by addressing stereotypes and highlighting the creative and dynamic nature of engineering professions. The programme also included laboratory tours focused on advanced 3D printing technologies and concluded with an interactive Kahoot quiz. the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana.
